Reynisfjall, Black sand beach and Basaltic Columns

Another beautiful place in Iceland. There are so many volcanoes, that there is a lot of basalt in Iceland. This makes black sand beaches and hexagonal, basaltic columns, in many places. This beach was an easily accessible place to see them. It's also known as very dangerous beach with a history of rogue waves that carry you out to see and drown you. The signs say never turn your back on the ocean.

Such beautiful scenery.

Hexagonal columns.
