Universal Studios Jan 2017

Before we left LA after the Rose Bowl Parade, Cindy and I went to Universal studios. I had never been before.

Lots of movie making memorabilia all around.
Hogsmead and the whole Harry Potter thing was well done and fun. Mostly two rides and lots of shops, but all made to look like scenes from the books and movies.

Whatever they sell as their Butter beer was surprisingly tasty. I thought it would taste like cream soda or ginger ale. It's hard to describe, but it was good.

The post office was particularly fun with the owls and stacks of packages.

Honeydukes sweet shop had all the things you read about in the books.
The Jurassic park ride, that's a dinosaur.

Characters from movies throughout the park, transformers.

Special effects show. Guy on fire.

Back lot studio tour

Beautiful views, no smog our whole trip since it was post rain.

Back lot that looks like New York.

Back to the future site.
Jaws set.

Whoville.

Psycho

 Plane crash site.

More characters.

Animal actors show

I am a Walking Dead fan, so this was fun. Kind of like a walk through spook house.

Scooby Doo tripped over my foot and almost fell.

Fun day!
