Kayaking at Watson Lake

So last week I read in the paper about renting Kayak's at Watson Lake in Prescott. So this week, I went! Penny and Cindy came with me, but Penny got cold feet after Cecelia told her she would tip over and that it would be scary. So Penny stayed on shore.
This is Cindy and I ready to go.

Launch area. There were lots of people enjoying the lake. But it was nice, because no motor boats are allowed. There were no wakes or load motors. It was very peaceful.

The rowers.

The lake is decent sized for kayaking and has lots of cool boulders around the North half.

The dam.

This poor cottonwood tree has a foot hold on this boulder.

The view towards the South end of the lake.

Pretty refelections.

Penny's participation.

Cindy paddling.

Me paddling.

Flowers with a foothold on the rocks.

Afterward, there was lunch and then shopping at the arts and crafts festival in the square.

The captions and photos don't match for some reason, but you can figure it out!
